Subj: med school question

Hi I am what you might say a non-traditional student. I've been out of under grad for 2 yrs and am planning to apply to medschool in next 2 yrs. my undergrad gpa was not that great. can you please advice my as to what i can do in coming 1-2yrs to improve my chances. Should i take more science classes , do volunteer work etc.

Well, first of all--take a look at the rest of my web site. I think you will be surprised how many bits of information relevant to your situation you will find hidden away.
It is quite obvious that if you need to take premed classes it would not hurt to do well in them and it will actually raise your GPA. Even if you have taken them, taking more classes and doing well in them will help your GPA and thus your chances of getting in. Taking classes might also refresh your memory and help you do better on MCAT. Obviously doing volunteer work and some clinical involvement should help too.
