Hi,

I was looking at your web page and it has helped me out a lot for medical school. I am currently a freshman in college and going to a community college but I plan on transferring to a UC at winter.

I was wondering if you could give me some more information about premed. I was also wondering if you could tell me which MCAT preparation manual or test is the best to prepare me.

There are several, and I want to get the best one(s). I would appreciate it if you could e-mail me back.

Thank you!

I think all the major MCAT preparatin books are more or less equivalent. The ones that are the most popular and thus the better one's are listed in the PreMed e-Library on this site.

I personally used Columbia review--I thought it covered Human Physiology/hormones better than Kaplan (and that was my weakest point). IT also has many practice questions. In general MCAT prep books are review books. You can't really study from them (though you can probably use it as a review book for your premed classes too!). Do well in your classes--it will pay off both on MCAT and will make your medical school classes a tiny bit easier.
